This is the first book in the Lightbringer series by New York Times Bestselling author Brent weeks. At 640 pages it may seem a little daunting until you open it up and start reading. I easily got caught up in the story and quickly finished the book. The characters are lively and engaging and are put in tough and strange situations. It's definitely a crazy ride with lots of bumps, turns, tears and laughter.
